We are delighted to invite you to Drupal For Enterprise, an event focusing on the common benefits and challenges of using Drupal in a business organisation.

Whether you're evaluating Drupal or are already using it, this event is a great opportunity to learn from the experience of other organisations, put your questions to the experts, and connect with the Drupal community.

Presentations

We welcome suggestions for presentations - even better, do you have a talk you'd like to give?

These are the topics we plan to cover:

  • Feature Recipes (Intranet, KM, eCommerce)
  • Licensing and Costs
  • Scalability
  • Security
  • Interoperability (legacy systems)
  • Support

The presentation schedule will be finalised in the next few weeks, so keep watching this space as we add more to the list:

  • Enterprise 2.0 With Open Source Software (Mark Baker - MySQL)
  • Enterprise Class Scalability For Drupal And MySQL (Mark Baker - MySQL)
  • Building A Scalable Drupal Cluster On EC2 (Peter Brownell - Code Positive / School of Everything)
  • Drupal Security Overview (Robert Castelo - Code Positive / Drupal Security Team)
  • Enterprise Search Solutions For Drupal (Robert Douglass - Acquia)
  • Drupal As A Configuration Management Database (Simon Croome - Nomura)
  • Automatic Sales Reports For Thousands of Clients Via Drupal Integration (Darren Mothersele - Freelance Developer)

Thank You!

Sun is an active Drupal user, long term Drupal contributor, and has very kindly provided us with an excellent venue for this event, which includes great presentation facilities, and will also be supplying drinks and nibbles. There is also a pub below the venue where we can move to after the event.

Note

There are only 100 tickets, and event registration will close a day before the event, so don't wait too long to book your place. Registration for this event is though the Eventbrite system.

Presentation proposal: Building a scalable Drupal cluster on EC2

SchoolOfEverything/ Code Positive have a new Drupal server cluster based on Amazon's Elastic Computing Cloud and S3 storage. I would like to present an overview of what has been involved.

How do you unregister?

I'm not going to be able to make it tonight :-( There doesn't seem to be an "unregister" option Sean Burlington www.practicalweb.co.uk London

Cancellations

That's a feature Eventbrite is missing. Mind you I can't complain, it took years for Drupal to get the opton to delete user registrations as well.

I've cancelled your ticket. Thanks for letting me know and freeing up the seat.

Hope to see you at the next event.

Presentations from the Meetup posted online ?

Probably jumping the gun a little, but when can we expect to see links to the presentations we saw in the conference (in either pdf or Keynote/PPT format) ? Quite a few, particularly the enterprise stack one, would be useful in some presentations I know I need to do to our senior management team (who are still having trouble wrapping their head around open source and how it fits into classical IT in general).

Coming soon to a web page near you...

I'll have most of them posted by tomorrow morning, and will chase up the rest.
