Can't get to DrupalCon? DrupalCon will come to you!

DrupalVolCon starts on Monday.

Eyjafjallajokull may have stopped you getting to DrupalCon in San Francisco next week but thanks to excellent support from the Drupal Community we can bring the conference to you.

Live video coverage of the conference will be available on drupal.org.uk and that's just the start.

We've been working hard to secure a venue that can host stranded delegates in Central London. There will be plenty of networking opportunities as well big screen projection of the main sessions from the conference.

Thanks to the great support that has been offered we can host 50 delegates at DrupalVolCon London. There is one more detail to finalise before we can announce the venue but registration is open now. Priority will go to registered DrupalCon delegates but we are happy to welcome other members of the community that want to participate.

Please help find the best real time content about DrupalCon

Hi,

To monitor available content about DrupalCon realtime, I created a Taatler instance on Saturday .. It gathers all the mention of a topic in twitter + news, websites, blogs, multimedia sites like Ustream, Youtube etc... It's already giving a great result this morning more than 170 mentions.

-Under each news item you find most relevant click on "vote"

Next I want test managingnews latest beta and create a widget you can embed in your blog or your site the spread the best content.

When and where

Any news on when and where this is actually happening?

Dries' keynote starts at 1330 PDT which is 2130 BST - i.e. in about 7 hours time. If we are gathering to watch it, we need to know where!
