Can anyone suggest any ideas or options for speed performance enhancement on some new developments we uploaded this week on iHubbub.

The site has been been rebuild from scratch on a new updated commons platform with no panels [which slowed the old site down] and only necessary modules, but with the new maps and pins feature it is far too slow with the maps/pin data but as this is now a vital hub of the site, we need to get this fixed asap.
