I'm relatively new to Drupal but am enthusiastic to become more proficient..!

My current website (Drupal 7.12) captures details about a user's athletic ability - e.g. balance, power, strength etc. - and I want to create graphs to show how the user's statistics have changed with time.

I was surprised about the lack of functionality/configuration was available to me when integrating Google Charts with the views module, for example I currently have a line graph with x and y axis lables the wrong way round, with no obvious way to make the changes required...!

I've had a look round on Google but found very little to help, so was hoping someone could point me in the direction of some good learning resources?!
