I've started to learn Drupa and I was wondering what are the essential books to get my head round this CMS? There are lots of books out there but which 2-3 should I buy (I cannot buy all of them obviously)?
Hi I think its depends on how you are going to use drupal i.e. themer, adminstrator, developer etc, if you are going to be a developer then the book I recommend is Pro Drupal Development i've got second edition which is for drupal v6, I think 3rd edition has just been release for Drupal V7. Nick
I have the pro Drupal development book and it taught me loads. I gather the book on Drupal dev by Matt Butcher is rather different i.e. you will learn different things from it. Each different author has their own slant and can give you additional ideas.
