Not in your area, but if you don't find a suitable provider please contact me.  All my clients are geographically remote - we use Skype (etc.) to communicate, I provide an issue tracking system (http://support.netgenius.co.uk) so that issues are properly handled and not forgotten about.  We have very occasional meetings, typically for project kick-off or annual reviews.  It works, is time efficient and for the same reason keeps costs relatively low.

Whether site maintenance (keeping Drupal and its modules up to date, etc) is simple or complex depends greatly on how the original site was put together.  In general, I only offer maintenance when staging and live sites are in place - all changes are made on the staging site,and when suitably tested, switched to live.  Directly updating a live site, especially one built by somebody else, is risky, although sometimes a good way to find out if your backup procedures actually work.
