First of all the bad news, but it isn't all really bad.
We have established a community Newspaper called The Finchley Arrow which is manned by volunteers who also pay their own expenses but please don't let our glorious politicians find out. We won't take advertising so there are little funds available. A few of us including me, are over seventy, so as you can imagine, Drupal is a little difficult for me, but fortunately we have the help of a younger man :-)
We are now embarking on Phase Two of our project of trying to change a London dormatory town into a more friendly community.
We have started to learn Drupal and our journalist Chris Lockie is doing a fine job at http://www.finchleycommunity.com/
What I am looking for is a friendly expert who I can email from time to time to ask a question which will only require a yes or no answer. A simple thing but can save us hours of time searching. You see, our problem is we are having to learn whilst we go live with the website.
The sort of question is, "If we have tabs along the top, and a contents square down the left, is it possible for each tab to call a different contents square?" And you would say yes, or no, and if yes, we would start to search all our manuals to find out how.
This would probably only apply to someone who believes always in giving a little back to the community. If you are one of thos people please contact me at ampers on gmail.

Ahem :
"If we have tabs along the top, and a contents square down the left, is it possible for each tab to call a different contents square?"
Andrew, as long as the square fellas don't mind being called that name ;yes !
But looking at an alternative meaning of your question , blocks (a.k.a squares) may be created from content and the content also given menu links(a.k.a tabs) . so I guess tabs may call contents squares
Feel free to email me your questions. I promose not to get you angry.

Thanks Timi, on the strength of your reply we have found out how to do that.
We may go and purchase a complete package to avoid the learning delay, and Chris can learn Drupal quite successfully as a maintenance programmer/developer.
