Hello everyone,
My name is Peter and I have been interested in Drupal since 4.7 in 2007 and attended Szeged, Paris and tomorrow leave for CPH. My plan is to use Drupal to create a new website, replacing the static, dated effort that is now over ten years old:

The site concerns a freely available health, nursing and social care resource known as Hodges' model, which supports new and qualified staff learning about health care theory, practice and health informatics. I work full-time as a community mental health nurse and trainer in Chorley and Ormskirk in Lancashire, England. The NW England Drupal group who meet monthly in Manchester have kindly offered to help jump start a new site with a one-day event for October or November.
Before I discovered Drupal a blog was created in 2006 (using blogger) and appears to demonstrate a small, but potentially global interest in Hodges' model:

Drupal seems to me (and you!) to offer the best resources for a user community to emerge. Initially I would like to archive some of the old content and have three pages in working draft form (trying for HTML 5) with CSS pre theming. I am aiming at Drupal 7. Drupal's versatility in content types would be to create case studies that reflect the model's structure and care (knowledge) domains. Drupal's internationalization; tags - rdf - semantic web; educational tools; drag and drop will hopefully also eventually feature on the new site. There is quite a bit of discussion on the blog about the 'plans'. I'll be posting from Copenhagen too.
MDDA in Manchester have kindly offered a free venue for the day. Chris Maiden and I need to gauge interest and numbers. If you are up for this there's a poll to see which days are best, with one response already (thanks Ian!) -

I'll take a day off if need be and will ensure there's grub and drinks and can also offer some free advertising care of my existing blog and sites.
I hope you can contribute, whether you are local or even further afield. If you would like more information let me know - h2cmuk@yahoo.co.uk
Many thanks in advance.
Peter
