Struggling with my new Drupal website

Hi Guys,

Not sure of I am in the right place to ask for help, there does not seem to be a forum for advice of using Drupal.

I run a cricket club website www.otrcricket.com, it was set up for the club and on the retirement of the webmaster has been passed to me.

I have never used Drupal, used to have a Joombla web site, and although I am getting my head around this one I am still struggling over some issues.

The main one is how on earth can I add content to a new menu I created.

If you look at the site, I created in preparation for the coming winter months an [Indoor Cricket] top menu item with three sub menues, Romsey, Houndsdown and SHICL.

I created a page called "Romsey" to put in the Romsey sub-directory following the instructions I have

Content > Create content > create page -----> then create your new page ----> then under menu options add the menu title in there and select the parent item you want it to appear under.

I created the page and selected the Indoor>Romsey sub menu where it states Menu Options > where it said Parent Item, then Save.

I have done this lots of times. But when I go to the menu item at the top I get the dreaded "Page Not Found".  I am tearing my hair out here and would really appreciate some assistance with this.  I did go on a Drupal chat line but all the talk was of American Football and Girls, when I asked a question I was told see your privider, which was no help to me because I do not have one.

Sorry to be so long winded,

Thanks

Vic (Aged 67 and struggling)

Struggling

I actually found through searching Google a YouTube passage answering just this question.

Thanks for looking however, and if you take a look at www.otrcricket.com you may be able to advise me of anything I can do to improve the site.
