Ok then, I've been asked to create a template that the client can customise the layout. It's not so simple as picking a three colum or left sidebar kind of deal, what is being proposed is that they can choose the content type ( text, image, flash etc ) and where it sits. I was hoping it would be something as simple as choosing which side the image floats, or if the text is full width, that I can do.

I've just started looking at Panels and perhaps someone has good experience using it? The request seems to be calling out for some kind of drag and drop interface, so any thoughts are MORE than welcome.
