We are one of the largest FE colleges in the country and are looking for a php developer with experience of Drupal to work on a range of projects. We are looking at how we can connect Drupal to our internal databases, so lots of interesting challenges. Some planned projects include:
Based in a small web team you will work across media and technology teams, you will mostly work on small scale projects, often being the only developer - so we need people with initiative and drive. In addition there will be some larger scale projects of work.
We are working in a LAMP / Drupal 6 environment.

Person Specification
Essential
Experience developing within a CMS environment such as Drupal, Moodle or similar technologies.
At least three years of directly relevant work experience within a PHP / database environment.
Proven programming ability in PHP, MySQL and relational databases, XHTML, CSS, XML/XSL, JavaScript/AJAX, and web scripting (either client-side or server-side).
Willingness and aptitude to learn new technologies as required
Proven ability to document software development and create test environments including writing test plans.
Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
The ability to work as part of a team in the management and successful delivery of project outcomes and to prioritise workloads when working on multiple projects.
Ability to liaise with managerial, academic, technical and administrative staff.
Experience of managing and maintaining a Unix-based web server, running such technologies as Apache and Linux.
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in clear everyday language.
Worked in a structured environment which used standards.
Enthusiasm for creative problem-solving, innovation and development of new approaches
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
