Drupal is undergoing a major refactoring to take on the new challenges presented by the evolution of the web. Having been a CMS dealing primarily with HTML for 11 years, Drupal now needs to efficiently respond to a plethora of formats and devices.

To meet this challenge Drupal 8 is undergoing open-heart surgery by injecting Symfony 2 components into its core.  Alex Pott, Nathaniel Catchpole and Damian Lee will give a presentation at Symfony Live London 2012 highlighting the major achievements so far, how the collaboration with Symfony is benefitting both communities, what to expect from Drupal 8, and why it will rock!
