I have just done some work on a 4.7 feed module that will allow you to theme your RSS feeds using XSLT. This lets you change the way your feed XML is displayed when someone clicks on the RSS icon.

At the moment, the default theme is taken from the BBC with a few enhancements to make it work nicely with Drupal.

Feel free to do some alpha testing for me. The module is currently in the contributions CVS repository as "feed". You should be able to download it via the web via view cvs
