The 2011 European DrupalCon will be held in London (tbc).
A proposal to hold DrupalCon 2011 in London was put together by the DrupalCon UK team, a group of volunteers with a long history of involvement in the Drupal community. The European DrupalCon Selection Task Force recommended the London proposal, and we are now waiting for final approval from the Drupal Association. All of which can be summarised as we are pretty sure DrupalCon will be held in London next year, but we still need final confirmation.
This group is being used by the local community to collaborate on working towards making a UK DrupalCon the best DrupalCon we've ever had. The DrupalCon UK team is managing the event localy, and will co-ordinate the efforts of the community here.

Was: DrupalCon London Concept Challenge
After discussions with organisers of previous DrupalCons, the DrupalCon London team has decided that it will be more effective to change the concept challange to a call for volunteers for a design and marketing team, and the use the team to generate material.
