Bug fixes and a couple of tasks on a D5 site

Rich Horn's picture

Hi y'all,

I have a couple of things outstanding on a D5 website that I could do with some assistance with.

Its still D5 as it makes extensive use of mysite module which has not been updated to D6.

The site is quite large and uses a lot of modules including a few custom modules my previous dev created - he had to back-out due to health probs.
I need someone familiar wit D5 and with strong PHP skills to  assist with a few things that have defeated me.

Please do contact me if you think you may be able to help.

Thanks,
Rich.

The MySite module for D6

" For Drupal 6, this module is being replaced by the Dashboard project as part of the drupal.org redesign. We need volunteers to work on Dashboard, so go over there and help out, please. "

Why don't you consider upgrading to D6 and switch to dashboard in the same time. D5 is becoming obsolete and sooner or later you'll have to upgrade anyway. I can say the less you have to upgrade the less you have to spare for :)

Thanks Alexand

Yes, I have looked at Dashboard. It doesn't currently have the same functionality as mysite, but I will upgrade when it becomes possible.

In the meantime I need to sort this out in D5.
