Drupal Design & Theming Rockstar Wanted

We are a new start-up (4 months old) based in Chester looking for a Drupal rock star to join our small but dynamic team. We are backed by one of the UK's most successful Web Entrepreneurs so this is no ordinary start-up. This is a fast paced, young, dynamic company with people who are passionate about what they do; team players who love to innovate and push barriers, so should you! Candidate should 1. Be creative and have a flare for web design and attention to detail. 2. Be an expert in XHTML, CSS and creating/maintaining Drupal themes (you’re own or someone else’s). 3. Have proven experience of developing cross browser, CSS based, standards compliant themes for Drupal 6 - we'd like to think the candidate would have 'The Zen of CSS Design book' in their bookshelf . 4. Own a task and use your initiative to see it through to completion (you shouldn't be afraid to ruffle feathers to get things done). 5. Image creation and optimisations for the web (Flash a bonus). 6. Have proven experience of administering Drupal 6 (especially using blocks). 7. Have experience of developing modules for Drupal 6. 8. Have experience of Linux - Ubuntu server would be a definite plus! 9. Have used and understand the importance of source control. 10. Be able to manage their own time effectively. 11. Be flexible in their approach to work. 12. Have a 'team comes first' philosophy and be able to work in Chester. .. and Like varied musical genres - you may not always get to play your own music in the office! Our stack and tools we use... Apache 2.x PHP 5.x MySQL 5.x Amazon EC2 PayPal Web Services Ubuntu Sphinx Search SVN source control (SVN Tortoise Client) Google Apps Digsby and others... Initially you will be focused on page, theme and template design but there will be opportunities to create Drupal modules and generally push the platform to its limit, and this will be an Enterprise grade website. This will be a full time position (37.5 hours a week), salary is negotiable for the right candidate and you will have the opportunity to share in the company’s success. Work hours are flexible but we generally have core hours that we expect all the team to be together - there are opportunities to work from home if required and this is at the company’s discretion.
